Certification Information

The PADI Open Water Course is your first step into a whole new avenue of exploration. Anyone ages 10 and older can get certified and once you obtain this certification, you are qualified to dive all around the globe whenever you want!

The course consists of 3 sections:

1: Knowledge Development, an out of water learning portion that covers basic science, scuba terms & principles
2: Confined Water, your in-shallow water (or pool)skills development portion
3: Open Water, your actual checkout dives where you are quizzed on your skills in the open ocean

STANDARD OPEN WATER COURSE

The PADI Open Water course is made up of 3-4 days of learning and in water diving. We will kick things off with some classroom lessons and confined water sessions. Then, hop into the ocean to complete 4 open water dives. After a final skills checkout, you will officially be a certified PADI Scuba Diver.

OPEN WATER COURSE & E-LEARNING

Want to get a jump start on your learning and tackled the knowledge portion before you go on your scuba training vacation? You can do the e-Learning portion in advance! Join me in Cozumel with your paperwork all done and jump right into the in-water portion!

OPEN WATER REFERRAL COURSE

If you're a real go-getter, join me in Cozumel with your e-Learning AND confined water portion done. Find a local shop near you to do the confined portion in a pool and come down to Cozumel with your referral paperwork in hand.

For Certified Divers: 5 days of diving, 2 tanks a day
For New Divers: Full service Open Water Scuba Course & 2 days of fun diving
All food & domestic alcohol is included in the total if you choose to eat at the resort

Things to note:

You are responsible for booking your own flights.
For certified divers, rental gear is an additional fee.
Gratuities for your dive instructors and hotel staff are not included.

Hotel transfers are available upon request and will be an additional fee.
